If you have Windows:

1. Open “Paint” or other photo editing software
2. Resize
3. Pixel
4. 1200 for long edge
5. Rotate to correct position
6. Save and post.

I found my answer and only wish this were an Agile 4x4 E-Trek.

Default Lenght of Etrek XL

It's 24 feet long. That sounds long, but my GMC 2500 is 20 feet long and it's not much different handling either vehicle around town.

Thanks. Unfortunately my condo HOA would probably freak out but I’ll check.

I'd be cautious of some of the Roadtrek systems like the Ecotrek lithiums and the under-mount air conditioner. That being said, if they work well, it is quite stealty for a 24' class b due to no roof a/c and clean sides that give it a passenger van appearance. It also has the huge "Warp Core" 1600Ah battery package. Looks like it was optioned to the max.

I’d be reluctant to take that low mount A/C on a dirt road. The Alaskan and Dempster Highways would be really questionable. It’s a great looking coach and I’m truly sorry it won’t for my living situation nor my travel envelope.

It will work extremely well for the right buyer and here’s a bump for a really fine coach!

Forgive my ignorance, but what are the shortcommings of a low mount AC on a bumpy road?

I could also be ignorant but I think a low mount A/C is under the coach??? Someone please correct me, if I’m wrong.

If it’s under the coach, wouldn’t it be vulnerable to mud and slop on unpaved roads? I’d really like to be wrong, because it’s a really good looking coach that could possibly work in the condo association I’m considering.

Thanks!

Default Roadtrek Under mount AC

I haven’t taken it off road, so I don’t know if there would be a problem with the AC in those conditions. I ordered it with 4 wheel drive so that I could drive out west in the winter to snow ski. What is really nice about the undermount AC is that it runs on DC power and doesn’t require the use of an inverter and thus has less draw on the batteries. That combined with the 8 lithium batteries mean I can run the AC overnight in hot weather here in Mississippi. 4 batteries will get me through the night and then I switch to the other 4 in the morning.

mclintock247,

Thank you for that explanation. I thought there would be some real advantages to the DC Air Conditioning and using that huge battery bank and you’ve told me what they are. That makes it a really functional coach for 90% of my travels.

Best regards,

Bill

So I looked it up:
https://youtu.be/wBF0xf6IxGk
From an engineering viewpoint, it has some excellent features, but being mounted under the coach is bad engineering. Excess risk of catastrophic damage from the elements is my primary concern, not to mention high cost.
I'll stick with the interior under ceiling rear cabinet location, and use low cost easily replaceable home window AC. Can even easily switch to a 12vdc in place of the 110vac type and rewire for the amp load.
That's just my opinion, YMMV

mclintock247,

What color are the cabinets? It’s hard to tell from the photos.

Thanks,

Bill

Cabinetry color is called ebony. A nice dark blackish gray color.
