Default Rental class B in Montana and about?

My bro in law and his family of four want to rent a Class B in late June through early July for a multi western state vacation. Possibly a Travato G or similar. Any recommendations? Thanks

Is Class B a requirement? I think it's a lot easier to find Class C's for rent and probably less expensive. Last time we were out west (two summers ago), we saw tons of rentals, mostly 24' Class C rigs. Cruise America has a "Compact" model at some locations that easily fits in a regular parking space (length-wise anyway). The Class B's rentals we saw were either from individuals or small companies with just a few to rent.

We saw the same thing on our Yellowstone trip last May. Lots of rented Class "C's" out west. The few class "B's" we saw seemed to be owner driven.

Very good thanks! I’ll pass the word along. I think a C would be fine for dipping the toes....

Well, I wouldn't necessarily say that. Nothing is easier to maneuver than a "b". I'm just pretty sure they are much scarcer to rent than a "c".

That being said, we found a lot of Chinese tourists driving rented "c"s all over and around the West from Yellowstone to Devil's Tower. If they can handle such a large vehicle on foreign roads, in twisty mountains, then that's proof to me a "c" can make it anywhere.

I, however, enjoyed our small class "b". Being flat-landers, we were glad to have the size vehicle we had knowing a "c" would not handle as well.

Campervannorthamerica rents Class B Sportsmobiles in Bozeman, Montana:

Campervan Rentals for Bozeman, the Motorhome & RV Rental Alternative

We have rented from them twice at their Las Vegas location and found it very satisfactory.

We often see RoadTrek Class B rental units from Best Time RV Rentals around Moab and Yellowstone / Grand Tetons. Their website also lists Class B Travato, Hymer, and Carado units available to rent, although all the units we've spotted have been Roadtreks.

Best Time RV rents out of Las Vegas, Phoenix, California, and Vancouver WA, along with some additional Canadian locations.

Prior to buying our current Sprinter we also rented from Campervan North America out of Las Vegas, so I can second the recommendation from Ang9.
