Default Re: Leisure Travel Vans

I have just recently bought a 1997 Leisure Travel rv and read on this forum about a 1999 recall on the "parking brake". I bought it from a dealer so would they have made sure the repairs were done before they sold it? Also I've been reading here about fuel economy..does a thing called "fuel doctor" that you plugs into your cigarette lighter and supposedly works on your electrical system???... gives you better gas mileage. Does this really work? I will be taking my "maiden voyage" this month and would appreciate any advise on fuel economy. I did read about something called Lucas you put in your gas tank???? Where do you buy that?

Maybe, maybe not.
Try calling Leisure Travel to find out if they tracked the recall by VIN number. I know Roadtrek tracks recalls that way.
