Default China Beach Campground - Vancouver Island

We stayed for two nights at China Beach Campground in Juan de Fuca Provincial Park on southern Vancouver Island earlier this season.

Much of the campground was still closed when we were there. We had a hard winter the year before last and it looked to me that quite a few trees were lost.

There are some great hikes in the area.

Hi Marko,

My wife and I camped at China Beach in Sept. '05, and really enjoyed to cool forest and the trails to the beach. I was wondering how the tall trees made out in the wind storms last year? It would be a shame to lose any, but I guess that's just the natural progression of things. I took many photos; here are a few...
