Default Component upgrades

I was looking over some of the components in my campers that seem to draw more power than I believe needed. One is the furnace fan. Are there more efficient motors that can be used to replace the existing one driving the fan in the standard Suburban propane furnace?

Thank you,
Pat

The newer, allegedly quieter, Suburbans use a different motor and control board and draw a bit less power. IIRC the new ones are about 2.7 amps and the old ones were 3.1 amps, rated. The motor runs both the draft and circulation fans in the the Suburbans. I think ours new style runs around 2.5 amps, but it has been a while since I checked.
