Default Question on Inverter

I have a 99 Leisure Travel which has a 1000W inverter. My television is only DC. I have a regular electrical DVD player. When I want to watch a movie, I use the inverter. After being into the movie part way, everything shuts down and the panel for the inverter is blinking battery. When I check the status of the batteries from their panel, they are fine. Everything works on 12V. I had purchased an 800W inverter for my other little MH and had no problems. But it was much newer. Could my inverter be bad?

Default Re: Question on Inverter

I experienced the same problem. It was with a 400 watt Xantrex inverter. After a half hour or so when watching a movie it would sound the low voltage alarm & quit on me. I never did figure it out. I upgraded to a 1200 watt inverter and never had any more problems.

Maybe: Bad inverter? Heat? Poor connection? I know it wasn't low battery with mine. Frustrating problem.
