Default Running Honda EU2000 Generator in a Box

Does anyone have a setup running a Honda EU2000 or similar in a box?

there are several vendors of boxes for these small generators our there. Sportsmobile, Outside Van and others have photos, etc. showing small generators being carried in boxes attached to rear doors or on receiver hitch brackets.

will it overheat?

How bad is the noise/vibration transmitted into your van?

how do you use it? What do you run with it?

I'm looking at a product from rvgeneratorbox.com.

There are others: Aluminess, hapcoinc, kshmarine.

search for burning man hush boxes or quiet boxes. Everyone uses one there. It's just a simple box, 1\2 or 3\4 ply. Usually a hinged top. A set of vents on both sides.

If you're gonna carry it on a hitch carrier you should do it just to keep it out of sight.

The bottom is usually left open and have a chain around the genny and lock it down.
