Default Water hose intake hose replacement on Roadtrek 170

My fresh water intake hose broke on my 1999 Roadtrek 170 and I need to replace the hose. Any good ideas on how to replace it. A dealer told me it would be a big job and cost $2000.00. I don’t believe that. There must be a way without dropping the tank. I saw one way but I don’t want to cut the panel in the doorway to get to the hose.
Hopefully some one one here has done it. Thanks for your help.

I did the hose and filler intake for the front (outside) tank on my 04 190 V. I had to remove the trim behind the drivers seat. I could access the fitting to the tank from below.
