Default Data Usage in US

Which plans, company and packages have most been happy with and have feedback pertaining coverage on their travels? I am thinking of taking my office on the road from Canada and snow birdin' through the warm southern states which would require me to be available via VPN for seven hours per day.

I can imagine that I may run into some troubles along the way as this would be my first time with a traveling class B office!

I think it is pretty clear that Verizon still has the best 4G coverage in the US. Also probably among the most expensive. Of course, if you have a particular location in mind, the answer may vary. Best thing is probably to get a WiFi hotspot from Verizon.

Well I would drive south from Ontario, Canada to Florida and then head West and to slowly journey north as the warmer seasons come...

Plan a route and stays and look at the coverage maps. Actually, when it comes to RVing only Verizon and AT&T are players outside the metro areas. AT&T can be stronger in the east and Verizon in the west from my experience. I use both data plans. I tried Sprint with a mifi card and found it worthless. T-Mobile is a metro area company in most of its coverage.

I've been happy with Verizon's coverage and their costs have been coming down due to competition from AT&T.
