Default RV Internet

After upgrading the TV in our 05 Pleasure-Way Excel TS, I found that internet access was necessary to utilize the apps built in to the Vizio TV. I'm using a Verizon 4GLTE Home (Novatel T1114) router, which worked great for a local trip last week. Watched Netflix without interruption. I'm adding an omni-directional antenna to increase our range and help us keep signal for longer trips. Has anyone else tried this type of setup for internet access?

Here is a thread on this topic:

If you REALLY want a good external antenna, you definitely want a setup that uses MiMo (described in the above thread). Vastly superior to any other approach. You would probably need a new modem, though.

Default Modem

Not so easy, as the modem is also the hotspot.

Very easy. There are several hotspots that support MiMo, including the AC791L that I mentioned in the linked thread.

I have a Samsung phone with an unlimited plan . I replaced the tv with a Samsung TV. There is an app where you can mirror the screen ..I log on and watch unlimited Hulu, Netflix, and prime.
I also have a surface pro with 4g on an add on the account. I very rarely go without internet ..Binge watched yesterday in the rain for several hours
