Default Newbie Plumbing Questions

Hi, All,

Two newbie questions on my brand-new Travato 59K:

- The water pump doesn't deliver water. Tank's full, no leaks, and I hear the pump motor - but no water at the faucets. I cleaned the cap and screen, and did the "initial priming" routine in the manual, but still no water. I also tried with fill cap open, in case there was a vacuum. Everything runs great on city water. Do I need to take it back to dealer for warranty service?

- Second, truly rookie question: How do I release the outside shower hose from the "quick connect" connector at the rear of the coach?

Thanks,
Emma Joy

Probably your RV is still winterized. Look for the bypass valve.

Default Outside Shower Hose Question

Travato 59K question:
Does anyone know how to remove the outside shower hose from the "quick connect" connector in the back of the Travato? Thanks

You need to remove the water pressure so turn off the pump and release the pressure in the hose. Now you should be able to push in the collar and remove the hose.

Thanks, Eric! I was having a bit of trouble pushing the collar in, but by pushing on the hose, I was able to loosen the collar and release the hose. The advice about releasing the water pressure in the hose was right on!
