Default Question with GROUPS

How do you list a posted topic or the group into a "category" How do you list your groups in a category and what are they all called?

Group messages are unrelated to posts in forums. Group posts don't display in forums, aren't searchable and generally have a pretty low visibility.

Janet H,

As you may be able to see, I created two GROUPS. If you can go into the group. In creating or EDITING the GROUP there is a question ( Catagory or UN-Category). I wanted to category the Group but in trying to do so the OPTIONS as to how to are not shown. That is my question. How do I category a newly created Group?

You can edit your group to place it in a category BUT Currently there are no categories set up so there are no options to place a group into a category.

Here's the thing... The native Groups in the forum software are very limited. Most folks never see those posts and they aren't really searchable. If you want to ask questions of share info it's better to use forum threads.
