Does anyone have experience with the HR Augusta series on the Ford Chassis with the V10? Seems like a solid coach, tons of storage, and I feel like an 08 with 32k miles on it for just under $16k is a hell of a deal

That is a fairly large Class-C so there might not be many on this forum with experience. Any Class-C of that vintage is likely a good buy. But you are correct $16K does sound like a good deal.

Don't kid yourself, there is no such a thing as a B Plus.

Nice RV though.

I had a 213 floor plan unit. It was Trail Lite not HR.

It was wide, like 8' & had a long rear overhang. Both of those need to be considered when parking it (tail swing). It had a short wheel base & my wife thought it had a bit of a tippy feeling on turns.

The one I had was an economy type unit similar to how travel trailers are built. You often can find them at a so called bargain price.

They can be good value if well maintained by previous owners. The biggest worry would be water leaks causing rot and mold. Particular attention is needed where the TPO (rubber) over thin plywood roof meets the front fiberglass cap section. Same with the junction of the rear fiberglass cap and TPO roof.

If you maintain it & keep water out they'll last a long time.

This one is a full fiberglass roof, no TPO. Picked it up and tool it on the maiden voyage last night and had a blast! A few things I'll change but overall I'm happy so far. My unit has 2 jack-knife couches and no dinette, they come together to make almost a king size bed. So far I'm tickled to death with the purchase!

Have fun with it! We really liked the big kitchen & big bathroom. This might be a brochure for yours: https://library.rvusa.com/brochure/2008_augusta.pdf

spurred my interest and I checked a few locations- for instance in the LA area about 1/3rd of listed locations are "coming soon".

so check in advance as to whether they will be where you are planning on going.
