Default BUYING 2005 RIALTA

Greetings – I am new to the group and about to purchase a 2005 Rialta. The unit
has 2100 miles on it and has never been camped in. I don't think the owner has
used most of the amenities such as the oven, water heater, generator, roof air
etc. Is there anything I should be checking before I buy it besides making sure
everything works? I am buying it from the original owner who used it locally for
transporting his disabled wife so they would always have handicap bathroom
facilities available. It is set up from the factory with a handicap toilet and a
wider door and a wheelchair lift. I plan to install hand controls and a drivers
transfer seat so I can drive it. Has anyone in the group done this? Also I am
considering joining Good Sam club so I will have assistance available while
traveling as I am disabled and unable to perform even the most basic emergency
repairs. Has anyone in the group had any experiences with them? Thank you for
any assistance.

congrats on the potential purchase. It's rare that you find a rialta that is handicapped ready. On a 2005 with such low mileage, there should be nothing to "look for" before buying. It should be ready to go. Check that the generator starts and runs (if it has one) and enjoy!

Don't wait around, grab it asap because these things sell fast!

sounds great!!!!!! we are new and just introduced ourselves (chuck and eileen) we had excellent service with good sam before and just did with the tire blowout thing (see our post) the road service was easy and at no cost from pocket
there are probably more service companies, but i don't have any good sam complaints and their magazine can answer a lot of your questions..........have a ball..........where ya from.....
