Default Halloo from OK!

New member, MattGinOK. Got the gold prospecting bug about 30 yrs ago. Finally retired and am doing something about it. Purchased a Class B 1987 Intervec Falcon on a Dodge 1ton chassis in Dec 2014. Complete. Everything actually works including generator on the RV side. Took trip to Stanton AZ last year and all was OK. Went to Sturgis this year and found some water leaks (probably due to forgetting to put on pressure reg). Lost my awning in the freak gusting winds. Hopefully I can replace it. Generator had oil leak prob. It's just 30 years of wear and sitting. 60k miles. Engine is excellent. Needed front end work, AC work, and little stuff. Anyway, I feel it was a great buy at $2300.
Leaving for Terlingua on Nov 1 for the chili cookoff and then onto AZ, CA and NV for some prospecting and touristing in GOLD country!

Learning a lot from these forums. My latest query concerns the charging system on this beast. I know that using shore power charges the house battery as does the generator. The question is does the engine charging also charge the house battery?
