Good day everyone! Just introducing myself and my new coach MsGizmo. Only have had a few weeks and just been tinkering with the setup. No trips yet but this will be my trailhead home as I intend on doing alot of mtbing out of this thing. Great info on this forum so far. Glad I found it and hope to contribute whatever my newbie self can contribute. See you on the road or trail!

Welcome! This is a great forum and you'll find lots of good information here.

You might also want to consider the Crossfit-specific FaceBook group:

MTB'ing is my interest as well so I will be interested in your experiences. Do u plan on using a rack or storing it inside? One of my concerns is bike security since mine costs over $5K.
Keep on riding!

The Crossfit came with a nice door mounted 2 place tray rack that I finally got around to mounting and adjusting yesterday. I have an ebike and a gravel bike and intend on looping a cable lock through the frames and through the hitch. It’s not the end all be all security but just meant to deter if I have to step away from the van for a short bit. Other times they will go in the rig.

Default accessories

You should consider getting some trailer hitch accessories when you go traveling if you a lot of stuff. Welcome to the group/forum.

Yeah, definitely looking at a cargo carrier like this:

And with the cover. This will fit under the door mount bike rack and with a short hitch extender will allow for opening of the doors.
