Default New to the group & needing info about renting a Rialta

Hi,

We are David and Judy NuHavun from the Syracuse, NY area. We just joined the Rialta group because we are very excited about the prospects of purchasing a Rialta. We need a bit more time to save up the money (we don't do credit) but are faced with a very long trip that cannot wait. Our oldest grandson will be graduating from the Air Force Boot Camp in San Antonio Texas in late February. We will be driving from Central NY and then from Texas to Florida and back up the East coast to home - about 3 to 4 weeks.

Can anyone give us some idea of where we can rent a Rialta anywhere in NY, PA, VA, W VA? I don't know where to start so I thought this group might have some ideas.

It will be just David and me traveling. I have no idea how much to expect the rental would be. Even if you don't know of any rentals, if you can give me an idea what a Rialta typically rents for, that would be very helpful. Maybe it isn't even affordable but compared to hotels and meals, and factoring the convenience of having our lodging and food right with us at all times, it seems it would work.

Thanks for your responses in advance!

Judy (and David)

There are few, if any, places to rent a Rialta. The biggest "problem" is that the newest units are 10 years old. Rental companies want to have the latest ones available. You'd have to really search to find one.

When they were readily available, rental was typically $200 per day, plus mileage over about 100 miles/day.
