Default Night Lights

I am a newbie
Just received a new sprinter 3500 D6. I would Like to ask, what are the main maintenance items I should be most concerned with? What conversions such as air shocks or other suggestions.

Welcome to the forum Night lights!

Take time to get to know your rig. Rear air bags are probably only necessary if you carry rear passengers a lot or over long distances. Otherwise, you'll not notice much difference in ride from up front.

Then there are the typical added batteries and of course more solar if you boon-dock a lot. However, if you drive a few hours everyday or use hookups, you may be very satisfied with the standard factory setup.

Get to know your new rig, make a few short "shake-down" trips to see what to pack and how it works for you. Then you'll know more about if you need any upgrades.

A word of caution. It's an expensive addiction once you go down the upgrade road.

Hello,

One of the critical items is to make sure your DEF never goes empty. I also check all major fluids before any major trip, as well as tire pressure - very important.

Other than that, I've had my Sprinter for just over a year and have ~6K miles on it, and have not taken it into Mercedes yet but will do so at around 10K miles per the maintenance schedule and advice of my local Mercedes service advisor.

Since your handle and subject said Night Lights that is what caught my attention. I have a plug in 110 digital meter that also serves as a night light to move around in our van at night. You will want to plug it in where it is not in a direct line of sight to where you are sleeping, it is very dim until it is very dark then it seems overly bright. I can see ours from the side door so I know when I'm on shore power at a glance. They seem to be marketed under a few names.
