Default Airstream Interstate ride in back is unacceptable

Airstream Interstate is great except for the ride in back. The 3500 Mercedes van-- leaf spring suspension is for cargo and needs to be upgraded. Their comment(airstream) is they buy the best from Mercedes and they have no problem. I have actually been thrown a least one foot in the air sitting on the back sofa going down the road. I worry about the long term effect of the cabinets and TV in back. I would not buy any class b sprinter van until this is fixed. I know this adds costs to the coach but this is unacceptable for the owners. Upscale sprinter van has some solutions and I an looking into this--airstream needs to provide us answers or I will not be a repeat customer. Has anyone purchased advance RV they look to be the best in quality.

Advanced RV in Willoughby, Ohio is a certified installer of the Mercedes Benz approved AB Air Suspension system and they offer it as an option. I test drove their fully decked out Class B and also rode in the back on a test drive. Bottom line. We are getting it. They have information on their website. Advanced-RV.com

I remember when you first visited Advanced RV in the very early days. They have come a long way since then and get better and better every month. You made a great choice (I also love the rear air suspension).

Congrats on your new choice, Davydd!!

I have talked with Mike a number of times, but our GW Legend SE is a bit too new for trading.

I really like Mike's attitude about everything, and I'm glad to see he is getting your business.

Like you, I think the GW Legend SE has one of the best layouts in the biz--with the exception of the size of the bed, which is a bit short for me (at 6' 0").

Mike will probably work with you to customize your new rig just how you want it. That is his speciality.

I'm looking forward to hearing how you rate it against the PW and GW once you get it.
