Default Any other 17' Coachmen vans out there?

Here's my new (to me) toy. I love it! Self-contained-no propane!

g1g has a Coachmen. I think it is 19'.

17' must be great for getting around - easy to park etc.

You have a really good looking RV! Is it what they called a Coachmen Weekender?

Yes, it is very easy to manuver and fits in a regular parking space. This one is called a Van Traveler. It is a 1994 Ford Econoline. It had two owners before me--both women who kept it very clean. They kept all the brochures for the equipment, including the Coachmen brochure, which refers only to "Van Campers" and does not show this model. Maybe the Weekender is one of the Van Campers, or maybe it is a newer model.

This one has a Thetford Aqua-Magic marine toilet, Emerson hot water dispenser at the sink, Dometic fridge, Samsung microwave, Marley fan-forced wall heater, ProAir air conditioning, Dygert captain chairs (total of 3, 2 of them swivel, one can be removed), Audiovox TV and VCR, Panasonic CD player, hitches front and back, and I just bought a Car Toys security system, a Swagman drawbar-mount bike rack, and a Colman Fold'n'Go stove in case I feel like cooking.

Yes that is correct that I have a 19' Dodge Saratoga model
Yours sounds a lot like mine though. Is the toilet in the back and bed in the middle. That is the way mine is. Also do you sleep withwise or length wise in the van. All the 17' ones That I saw you slept with wise. Although I like Ford or Chevy over a Dodge I cannot complain.

This site seems to offer some Coachmen van parts:

http://www.cpcparts.com/

Might be worth bookmarking it for future reference.

They list a manual, but don't list for what years: Coachmen manual

The 17' Traveler has a couch immediately behind the driver that flips out to make a small double bed lengthwise. Tiny cabinets are above. With the side doors open, the couch faces the view. Behind that is a narrow lower cabinet that is up against the rear bulkhead. Behind the bulkhead on the drivers side is the toilet facing the center. There is a small amount of space to the rear of the toilet, just big enough for a suitcase.

Opposite the bed is the rear passenger seat, the fridge with microwave above, then the sink and drawers are against the bulkhead. Behind the bulkhead on the passenger side is the box with the electric circuit panel and gray water tank. Above that is dinette table storage and longer hanging space. More can hung above the toilet. The toilet sits on its tank.

Is that similar to your 19'? Where is the extra two feet?

My sink stove and ref. are right behind the driver. There are also a couple drawers one has the microwave in it there too. Nothing is along the passanger side except for the third seat and another couch that when combined with the other side forms a queen size bed

Yeah. Mine came with a rechargable flashlight that fit in a holder mounted within reach behind the driver's seat (my bed is there). Power to recharge comes in at the bottom of the holder. There was a vacuum cleaner also.

Default E350 camperVan

Hi there
My Paperwork states mine is an Econoline Camper Van Coachmen Conversion.

My B class is the econoline that had what are known as Barn Doors on the side and at the rear

It's a 90 E350 A/T 4x4 H/L transfer case .19 ft bumper to bumper. 14 inside.

Couch behind driver, galley across from couch.

South of galley is micro, refer closet, storage area for tools etc .

South of couch is storage for food ,towels etc ,then at the rear is a tub and shower.

Toilet right smack dab in center isle next to tub and in front of the rear "barn doors".

Another pair of Barn doors between passangers seat and galley.

It has a 3 ft raised ceiling full length of van (ends above the windshield)
sleeps two up top and two on couch, but 4 people would kill each other traveling in it.
I use it for storage of a few things Lots of windows.

Has a 4.0 kw Onan built in and a 12000 btu ac on top

Forced ducted heating

propane for stove and refer

Refer is a 3 way...12v , propane and 110v

I use the rv for off road camping. More like off road cramping .

I just ran across a couple in one just like mine ,and they traveled all over the USA.

They didnt think it was too cramped!

I know this is a long shot, but I just purchased this same version coachmen 17 ft van, I know it is over 20 years old but the MaryMary describes it to a T, but I can not find a manual and I have a few questions MaryMary last post was July 2012, but I sure would like to contact her for info on this van.
