Default Anyone here have a Coleman Polar Cub rooftop A/C

Just wondering if anyone here has a 9200 BTU Coleman Polar Cub rooftop A/C on their van.
Is it enough to keep the van cool?

I like the specs: max 1260 watts in desert conditions. Lots of RV'ers have run it on a quiet Honda EU2000 generator.
Only 1,000 watts in normal conditions.

Local dealer has a low profile 11,000 BTU Dometic Penguin that he'll give me a deal on but at 1,680 watts it is more than the Honda EU2000's rated 1,600 running watts.

Don't have one on my van but do have one on a park model type travel trailer (8 X 39). It is mounted on the roof in the rear bedroom (which is the basic square footage of a van) where the roof vent was. It does a great job and I live in North Carolina where the humidity and temps can be unreal in the summer time.

Hope this helps.
