My class B awning is 11' 6" and is a box awning. I need to replace it, so I have been doing research lately. Not only do you need to mount it high, but it also requires to spots below the awning so the arms can hook in. I could have gotten a 10' awning a lot cheaper (mine will be around $950) but there are obstacles like the battery box and the fresh water full port that must be avoided. I highly recommend visiting Fiamma Inc. - Products and calling them if you need to. Their support is awesome!

GoWesty doesn't offer the full range of sizes. I can't get mine from them! I am going to buy mine directly from Fiamma.

yes, I have found parts for fiamma from gowesty ...some of which were less than 1/2 the cost.

as for the legs, we find that attaching the legs to the sides of the van is clumsy as you are forced to walk around them...just go straight to the ground, much easier ( for me, anyway).

In the case of the OP, if we did not have an awning, I would get a 10x10 popup for $100 and use that.

you can also look at your local classifieds

I just ordered our awning today directly from Fiamma...it is not a new install, so I should just have to slip it on the already installed brackets, drill a few holes and screw a few screws.
