Default Beaver nearby

I took these photos today when we went out for a walk.

I asked my wife "beaver"? She replied "maybe an ax". So now I'm on the lookout for a beaver with an ax !

All jokes aside, I noticed half a dozen downed trees during the walk. The diameters of some are fairly large.

Marko, those little guys really do a number on the trees....hope they never decide to do it near someones house!! Wow, we looked at the snow, we are doing the winter over bit in FL. Every year we look around in areas that we had been interested in, last year we received an offer that was unbelievable, in the end we bought a place; spending more and more time down here. Funny to hear complaints to weather in the high 60's or low 70's for a couple of days - will show them the snow in your area. Warm regards, Ron

We thought we'd be heading to Florida this winter but we got discouraged by cost and complexity. Some places won't take a reservation for one month but will take one for three months. What happens if we don't like the place etc. etc.

I should have taken a few photos today so that you could show them. The snow was was up past mid-calf on the trail near where the beavers are when we went out today. I tried out my new minus 40 degree boots

I said half dozen before but, now that I'm looking, I counted an easy dozen trees brought down by the beavers.
