Bringing In US RV Into Canada

Looking at new Class B's to buy and went on RVT.com to see what's out there.
Prices seem to be better in the 'States' but what are the rules (and tax implications) of bringing one back to Canada. Is it worth the hassle?

Very much a hit or miss when it comes to the years acceptable/admissible. With the exchange right now the deals are not as good as they seem so local dealers will get the first shot at my hard earned money!

Yes, it is hit or miss. Checking the list is really step 1.

I wasted time looking into importing a made-in-Canada Bigfoot Class C only to find it wasn't on the list of vehicles you could import to Canada

For new or newer units, Both Winnebago and Airstream show 2017's on the list. PW shows 2015's. Roadtrek only up to 2012.

The list changes so it really is the only source.
