Smile Buying a Class B - Which one?

I'm in the market for a Class B!
There are three in my price range that stand out to me from nearby dealers who warranty their used vehicles:
1) 2003 Roadtrek Popular
2) 2003 Great West Classic Supreme
3) 2000 VW Full Camper poptop

Is there anywhere I can find out about the mpgs for each of these vehicles?

Does anyone have any comments, good or bad, about any of these vehicles?

Thanks for any advice!

so the VW you can't kinda use the can or galley while the partner is driving.
VW's have their charms but space is tight

roadtrek...which version popular? 170, 190 and 200 series popular are on different chassis.

my chev based pleasure way w/ 6 liter is about 16 mpg at 65 mph- an RT 190 popular would be similar.

I don;t know anything about the Great West

I was looking specifically for a Roadtrek at first, as they seem to be highly recommended.

The Great West has a floor plan that would work very well for my family, but I'm afraid it might get poor mpgs.

The VW probably gets the best mpgs, but it is quite small.

I don't seem to be able to find anywhere where people might have posted their actual gas mileage, as opposed to "dealer estimates."

The Roadtrek and Great West are most likely Dodge chassis with V8 motors. As already mentioned, probably 14-16 MPG Est. The VW is most likely a 2.8 L VR6 V6 motor FWD. Probably 18-22 MPG Est. The VW is most likely a Winnebago ( post Westphalia ) .

FWIW, I just read on the RT Owners Group on Yahoo that there was a 2003 RT on Dodge Chassis, 70K miles, etc - should asking price from a car dealer of $20K. I just pass this on so you can have some price comparison. Good luck in your search...stay away from that VW! Ron
