Default Can any Deisel Promaster RV owners report on their MPG?

Not what you heard, not what you read on the Promaster forum, not what a dealer told you.

But for the few of you out there that actually OWN and USE a diesel Promaster - be it a Travato, or a Lexor or a Zion, or even a full DIY conversion.

What kind of MPG are you seeing? Low 20's, mid or high 20's? Anyone get 30?

The only thing to do right now is extrapolate figures based on Promaster forum diesel Promaster owners. They report high twenties mpg wise and there is a member who tows a trailer with his sons motocross stuff who report low twenties while towing.

There are Travato diesel owners on this forum, as well as my Facebook group, but nobody is saying anything on their MPG. I was hoping a few would speak up and let us know how it's going for them.

I've had people tell me they got 28 on Ducato's in Europe, but that figure is one a different engine I think, as well as a slightly smaller van and their gallon is a bit bigger than ours.

So post the question on the Promaster Forum.

So... if no one is talking, I'd assume (yes, I know about what that makes of me) that it isn't stellar. If it was, they would be bragging all over the place like the Sprinter folks used to do. Or am I jaded? LOL

I'm sure that many would like to know.

Hardly any B's out there yet in diesel, let alone any on this forum.
That's what it tells me

No the Diesel engine is going to be same, just configured to US Pollution regulations . The 3 Litre diesel is also used in the FUSO, what you call a Medium Truck. It is the made by IVECO for the Fiat Group. The Van basically has the same dimensions, but you do not get the extended version we get here and in Europe, that goes to about 29ft for Class C application
The Diesel in the IVECO becomes something like Automotive Origami, has many uses. In the IVECO Daily 70c it has a 23,000lb GCVWR

Possibly you will see the stretched Chassis version on the Promaster

The biggest issue with the diesel is you are force to go with a LP generator and the LP tank is small.
