I've looked at a Grand Tour as well.

Pros:
I like the desk available by just flipping around the driver's chair.
Materials/fit/finish is nice.
The AS dealer near me is excellent.

Cons:
For the price, I can go to ARV and get a step up. Why buy a Buick when I can have a Cadillac?

Agree, they should at least try to offer more sophisticated interiors for the GT, like the Land Yacht finishes. But maybe the Land yacht concept, introduced in 2013, wasn't a commercial success, they are getting back, for their trailers, to very traditional interior design right now. Good luck getting an ARV for the $135k you could buy that Grand Tour. Plus the 10-12 month wait list of course.
