Default City water in take vs. a city water in take with check valve

On our C190P Roadtrek, we had a city water in take with check valve and when we would winterize it, we would insert the end of a pencil to release the valve to allow antifreeze to drain. On our 2013 RS Adventurous, it has a "city water in take". It does not mention anything about a "check valve". I know there is a difference between the two, I just need to know if we need to "winterize" it, and if so, how?

Is it a valve that you can open and close? If not it probably has a check valve. Hopefully an owner of a newer RS Adventurous will let us know.
