Default Class B information needed

I'm thinking about downsizing to a newer used (2005-2007?), "quality" Class B vehicle, and I haven't the foggiest idea about them. Comments associated with any of these type vehicles will be greatly appreciated.

Google the Pleasureway and Roadtrek sites, visit the dealers & have a look inside, talk to owners on the road and in campsites and at scenic lookouts. Read the posts in this forum. It will be great research for you, and entertaining too. Best wishes!

I think you'll find the build quality of Class B RV's to be better on average than other classes of RV's. Obviously there are high quality C's & A's etc. but generally speaking, Class B's are very well finished.

It depends so much on how you plan to use your RV. If you're going to go touring then a Class B is the way to go.

The positives are mostly self evident - fuel efficiency - ease of driving - ease of parking - use as a second vehicle.

The compromises are - less space for stuff and people.

We have pretty much lived in our Class C for 5 out of the last 12 months. We could not have done that in a B. A Class B would be perfect now though because we want to take shorter, more frequent trips and go touring again.

There is a write-up on the Sportsmobile Camper in the latest issue of Camping Life. Refers you to www.sportsmobile.com. They are truly great to own and operate. Safe travels.

Care for a little light reading? Here's a link to the thread further down this category (General).
it has links to other sites with similar commentary about "Why a Class B?" if that's
what you meant by "comments".

btw, welcome, and good luck in your search for a B. It's not easy, as I and some others
have found out, but it was worth it (to me at least) in the end.
