Class B Rentals

We recently did a rental through RV share. It didn’t go great as the rv had some problems (DEF related).

Does anyone know of an companies that rent class b’s.

We are willing to travel anywhere in the US.

I recently looked into renting that Advanced RV in So Cal and I was quoted a very high price, compared to many other options. Just a heads up for anyone looking at this.

"Our standard rental rate for this vehicle is $390/day. Each rental comes with 125 miles/day plus complete housekeeping setup. (Price does not include additional miles @ .65/ea, optional extras, or tax. Renter must provide insurance). "

I found one in Pennsylvania that rents the Roadtrek Simplicity. Fretz RV. Since it is the same layout as a Zion (without the bells and whistles) it will be a good one for us to try to see if we like the Promaster.

I've rented the Advanced RV in southern California, and had a great time. It sets the bar rather high, and is the nicest RV I've owned or rented bar none. If you want to experience some of what Davydd describes about touring without watching your battery and propane levels, it is an experience. But as he also says, it spoils you, so you come back home asking yourself how you can afford one, making plans to attend ARV-fest, etc LOL. Just saying...

One place to look for RV rentals is Airbnb. That's where we found the rig we used in Iceland. There are also a couple of RV-specific "rent your rig" sites.

FWIW, back in September of 2014, we rented a RoadTrek from A&S RV of Auburn Hills, MI for 3 days: $350 per day and total 300 miles allowance. PLUS $75 if we wanted to use the awning. They tacked on $25 for sanitation/Winterization. Extra miles were billed at $0.69/mile up to 800 extra miles and $0.99 for each mile over 800.

Looks like B rental prices are simply high ... and have been so.
