Best wishes to David.

Our grip on this life is often tenuous.

Best Wishes for a quick recovery-

I have known a few who suffered severe strokes and after a time had a complete & lasting recovery

i tried to copy this from advance rv user facebook page-had trouble getting all of Davids post it was 2 days ago

I got a hug card yesterday from the Advanced Fest group. I also got a care package with a couple of Advanced Fest tee shirts. I almost am there in spirit. Thanks all you you. I'm doing fine, I had three doctor appointments this and the last doctor, the cardiologists said I different have see him. The heart portion is A-OK from the battery of test performed at Buffalo General Hospital. Continuing speech therapy and occupational therapy this week in hopes that my cognitive memory test doesn't impair me from driving Alvar. Because Nancy has to do it herself because we are we are going to restore our May agenda and going to the Indy 500 race.
They still not had resolved what caused the stroke whether if it is plaque breakoff from cholesterol from my neck arteries and a blood clot stemming from the heart. Four days being hookup up to detecting arterial defibrillation proved negative. That's the principal cause of a blood clot from the heart.
So the result is I have upped my dose of meds to prevent another stroke, and Nancy has renewed our lax diet though we ate healthy at home already. I upped the exercise too. Presumably that is why we moved to a 3,700 acre park and bike trail in our backyard. I've gotten my 10,000 steps in all this week. I also allayed my fears of worsening heart disease from the tests I had. That was a relief.

Thanks for posting about David's health crisis, along with the copy of his FB post. I'm not surprised to read his analysis of his experience, rather like the thoughtful and informed (perhaps opinionated) posts on this forum. All the best to him so he can get back to enjoying his wonderful Class B.

David posted this yesterday 5/18

David Stovall Other than or Indy trip that will last a week beginning to weekend, I've got 8 weeks of speech and occupational therapy scheduled at Methodist Hospital on an outpatient rehab. So I will be close to home for two month. Whether I need all that much is yet to be determined. Health wise I'm good to go.

I got from my neurologist and approval to drive today. Progress. I passed a battery of test today which I flunked Tuesday.
