Default DEF for Sprinter?

You need to have newer scangauge firmware 4.22 or higher.

Scangauge web site has these codes for 2014+ Sprinter. https://www.scangauge.com/x-gauge-commands/mercedes/

Here is the info on DEF level. Says it’s for 2014+ 2.1 L. https://www.scangauge.com/xgauge/die...r-2-1l-diesel/ and https://www.scangauge.com/xgauge/def-level-lwn/

Has anyone tried DEF code on 2012 3.0 L 6 cylinder?

I did not see a DEF scan gauge for the 2014+ 3.0L. Do they not have one?

There are several (at least three) different X-codes floating around that claim to read DEF level--I am pretty sure some say they are for the 6 cyl. Obviously, I can't confirm. Google around a bit.

The service manual for the 2014 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 says the following:

"Fluid should be added regularly to the DEF supply reservoir during vehicle operation or, at the latest, after receiving the first warning message via the on-board computer."
