Default Does Anybody On Here Have Knowledge Of This

We have an older Roadtrek 190-P on a Dodge with 318 engine - - - and it has a heater under the twin bed on the curb side - - - will this type heater provide any fire hazard with bedding all around it???

PJRACER

I've been reading the various Class B Forums for a few years now and have never read of a fire related to normal use of the furnace in a Roadtrek. The furnace in the 2004 Roadtrek I owned had the furnace in basically the same place "under the twin bed on the curb side".

The only complaints about the furnace (other than noise ) that I've read is that people would like to direct the heat out from under the bed.

Some good posts on modifying that are here:

Default Heater location.

The heater is in the same location on our RT190V. I have never heard of a problem.

We do not leave our heater on at night we have a Travasak which handles most of the temperatures we encounter. If it going to be REALLY COLD - we add an electric blanket!
