Default Ducato Thermal Insulation for Rear Doors

Interesting thermal break Westfalia uses for the rear of the Ducato camper van. I suppose it makes sleeping in the rear more draft-free. Not sure if it is an owner add-on or comes from Westaflia. Wonder why we have not seen this done more? Looks relatively inexpensive and could redone for any Ducato.

Looks as if it would be relatively easy to duplicate. There are lots of complaints about the cold in the rear bed area.

That would be so easy to replicate. An hour or two, some ez-cool or reflectix, some tape. If I didn't treasure the view out the rear doors, I would probably have already done it.
