Default fold down couch

I was just wondering if anyone had ever tried or used one of the wal mart fold down couches in their van ? many people build beds ( i myself did for the aerostar van we have , it seems like it would be a good alternative to save room and time for a van that had the width for it to place one in the back of a full size van .
Any thoughts or answers on this ??

Here's a good topic to read through re: using a fold down couch or futon frame:

A few thoughts:
1. Bolt it down somehow
2. That one is 32" wide in the seating position so it takes up a fair bit of space
3. That one is 38" wide for sleeping - maybe too cozy for two people

Futons are not the easiest bed/sofas to convert down and up. Most we've had (and family when we visit) have been kind of balky and usually take two people at the ends to convert them.
