Default Re: Foreign Class B - Knaus

Germany’s stylish Knaus Sky TI 650 MF motorhome was named the 2012 Motorhome of the Year - and also best Fixed Bed Coachbuilt - at the inaugural 2012 Motorhome of the Year Awards which were held at the magnificent Luton Hoo Hotel in Bedfordshire, England. The awards were staged by Motorcaravan Motorhome Monthly (MMM) and Which Motorhome magazine in conjunction with Britain’s Caravan Club.

The 4-berth Knaus Sky TI 650 MF – a fixed bed coachbuilt motorhome on the Fiat Ducato chassis - comes equipped with Fiat’s 2,3 l / 3,0 l Multijet Heavy diesel engine and has been deliberately tailored to the British market. The vehicle – which is available in the UK through Southdown Motorcaravans and Lowdhams - is priced from £52,995.

The Sky TI 650 MF was described by Dave Hurrell, road test editor for MMM and senior judge, as “The epitome of a French bed low profile layout, this Sky adds bags of style and practicality.” Bavaria-based Knaus Tabbert GmbH – who manufacture a mix of caravans and motorhomes - only recently returned to the UK motorhome market and will no doubt be delighted with this award.

It is my understanding from the photo's I posted of the Knaus the website of the young ladies traveling in the "Knaus" is http://2ontour.net, and their German "rig" can be found at http://www.knaus.de/de/reisemobile/mode ... sicht.html.

Both sites are in German.
