Default Ground clearance of the Travato KL?

The Travato KL looks like a very nice rig (although expensive.) Does anyone know what the ground clearance is? I may find myself on less-than well-paved roads.

Default Travado KL

Asking what would the suggestion be for a senior 77 lady with pets get to travel part time. I want a permanent bed, real bathroom, Inverter 2500, solar 270, and like volt start. I want to use it all the time when not traveling. I like the Zion but the beds do not look comfortable. I like the Trend D but that I can no use all the time. I do not want diesel since it is hard to work on, I like the Dodge 3500 Promaster. Any suggestions all are welcome. Thanks, Suzan

Hello Suzan,
When you say you want to use it all the time when not traveling, do you mean that you will have it parked somewhere and you will use it as your home? If so, will you be able to plug the coach into "shore" power and/or water where you park, or will you be completely independent of hook-ups?

I'd be most concerned about the very low mounted 2nd alternator they add on. Between road wear, and water, I wonder? The shield basically does little.

OK... average clearance is 6 inches??? My Subaru Outback has 8.7 .....

An RV is NOT designed for any off road even light off road.....

Be very careful..yes, the generator is usually one of the lowest points....

As I stated in the last post....if you want to go off road.... take a Subaru Outback...not your RV......
