I never got the appeal of cassette and/or compost toilets. If I could camp without having to dump tanks at all, then I'd try a magic set up like that.

But if you have to dump your gray water anyway, the black tank is only one more pull on a valve. Yes, you have to flush it periodically, but don't tell me you don't need to flush a cassette toilet also. Just my opinion.

I definitely NEVER got the appeal of the composting toilet, but the cassette would have worked fine for me. It is just me and most of my trips are just a couple days. Plus I have no convenient place to dump in my summer home in MN.
