Default Jeep Wrangler RV

AEV is making an off road Jeep RV.
It looks enticing. It will be interesting once they release what the inside will look like.

It's more of an "Overland Expedition" (offroad)camper than RV.
All that equates to - OVERPRICED! I've owned & 4wheeled "Jeeps" since late '60s. Currently have a mild custom & lifted TJ. It's a beauty, slow, unreliable & terrible gas mileage. But a lot of fun in Mountains & looks good in the garage. Hope the next off road vehicle I buy is a Toyota. YMMV!

A Jeep Wrangler with an Ursa Minor poptop tent looks like an affordable overland vehicle for camping. it looks like they replace the entire roof assembly with their unit.

Yeah, and can be had. Not like the 'unobtanium' concepts at SEMA.

A Jeep is a Jeep and an RV an RV. Only rarely do they mix. A round the world trip, taveling up and down Africa or South America. Just an opinion.

I have both. They will never merge.

There is no doubt that there would be a market for vehicles like this. Having traveled and camped out of the back of a pickup for many months of my life, I would have loved one of these when I was younger. Of course, they aren't for everyone.
