Default Looking for plans and parts

I'm looking for plans to convert a cargo van into a self contained class "B". If anyone could supply me with sources, information, links or advice, that would be great.

Thanks,
Chuck

Here's a link to Terry's van conversion DIY project from this forum.
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=885
It's extensive, with lots of pictures, and info on the parts and materials he used.

There's also quite a few project oriented threads on the "Tweaks, Mods and Projects"
section of this forum. You could probably start there to get an idea of what people
have tried, and what works, and what they avoided.

Good luck.

and here's a link to Michel's DIY van project. He used Glen-L ( http://www.glen-l.com/campers/van-conversion.html ) plans as a starting point.

Thanks for the responses. I had seen each of these except for Terry's project. I'm applied, but my membership is pending so soon I'll be able to see. From other people's comments it looks like what I'm seeking. If anyone else has a contribution, that would be great.

Wow! Terry's conversion is very nice. I especially like how many anchor points he used for the cabinets. This actually reminds me of a conversion van that I did in 79. I used masonite instead of wood for the sides and glued and screwed plush carpet to it. That was the way they were done then except most were using shag instead of plush. Mine held up really well and looked great, but I'm sure you had to be there.

Now I'd like to do one as a self contained, including a gererator, and I'd like to try to do a bathroom, not just a potty. I'll look at his parts folder over the next few days, but anyone else that has suggestions and links please share.

Thanks,
Chuck

Take a look at Sportmobile.com. I haven't looked recently but they use to have preset floorplans and design your own
