Default NEED HELP, 1987 coachman electrical issue...

I have the e250 coachman raised roof camper, class b, and it has a house battery mounted in the right rear in an outside compartment, but then it has 2 mini batteries of some type in special holders mounted to the outside of the right frame rail approximately under the front passenger captains chair. What are they for ? And how can I bypass them and can I just bypass them and connect to either the house battery or vehicle battery ? Are they maybe set up completely separate for the factory generator ?

That may take some time for you to figure out.

As a start, you could record the voltage measured at every battery in the mix using a multi-meter or voltmeter then plug into utility power and again write down the voltage at every battery. You could also record the voltages when the generator is running and then when the van engine is running.

That testing will give you an idea of the connections.
