Default Old school toter-or the exact opposite of a b

We were next to this for a couple of days on our last trip. IIRC it was an old Peterbuilt, I think twin screw, manual transmission. It was huge, obviously, and also old school noisy diesel with the big stacks, smoke, etc. Had what looked like a new Onan 7500 genny that was as quiet as the Honda running a ways down the road. They had an older Taurus sedan in the trailer.

There's a casino "campground" near me, and it occasionally holds a Jayco Seneca Class C on the Freightliner M2 diesel chassis with all the 18 wheeler amenities. They are quite a coach if you look over the specs/layouts/coach amenities. I expect they're not inexpensive to buy, or maintain. They've always struck me as a class A diesel pusher, disguised as a class C rental. Similar to your neighbor in the pictures, but perhaps a little more "refined"?

We have always drooled over the Jaycos at the RV shows, although I think they now are on Ford chassis instead of Freightliner. Very nice inside but you have a lot of steps going in. The last time we looked at pricing on them at a show, they were still Freightliner and you could get one for about the price of an etrek. We considered them one of the best deals around if you want that size, or needed to tow big. They certainly are a real truck, and when we saw the one above, it was one of the first things we thought of, although most of the real "toters" are used for trade shows and racing support vehicles, I think. They have the small window, slab sides like the one above, and not as nicely finished as the Jayco.

An interesting car, it reminds me of my school days too, when my life was filled with bright moments, a lot of homework that I did with the help of special professional services, because I wanted to enjoy school times, and not hang them in my homework.
