Default Price analysis.....

I recently looked closely at NADA..RV....it's just a barometer of course...but, it does tell a story.....

Bottom line is that Class B's.. generally hold their value much better as they age than other classes like C's and A's....

For example...a Winnebago Via...a compact Class A on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis only with a different coach cut away for the new body...does not hold its price as tightly as Class B.... smaller unit.....

It's the same engine and transmission ...and chassis.... of course it gets less MPG for its extra weight and size....

Biggest advantage is the extra room.... however, a lot of these extra large vehicles have space but lower cargo capacity and that presents a dilemma.....you have all this extra space but limited on what you can put in your vehicle and use it for...... plus... even the empty space is a lot to drive around...

Finally....the wheels and tires are slightly in set from the body of the vehicle and the overhang definitely doesn't help with crisp handling.... I test drove a Winnebago Navion and it felt like a "floating boat" compared to my Class B....

Oh well...choices .... in the end... happy I chose to get the smaller Class B...can park almost anywhere.... price stability is a nice plus....

commercial appraisals using non-public real-time sale data. I've used them a couple of time son RV's i was looking to buy... Kept me from overpaying..
