Default Rear backup camera!

I have discovered that our RT has an aftermarket back up camera however the screen is very small
It is a wireless set up and I am wondering if it,s possible to add a larger screen has anyone any experience doing this ? Thanks,
Scroller

Look for Brand and Model # on the display then try to find the manufacturer site online.

I've tried to mix and match cameras and displays but the two different brands weren't compatible with each other. Some probably are though.

I have one with a 2.5" display. You can see it in these photos: http://www.classbforum.com/phpBB2/vi...p=12232#p12232
Works great but it is small compared to newer stuff.

I tried pairing up the camera from that monitor with my GPS but it didn't work. A $30 wireless cam experiment did work with my 7" GPS but the image was not good: http://www.classbforum.com/phpBB2/vi...&t=2434#p13420

Wireless? Do you know if it happens to be bluetooth? If so you can use a tablet or smartphone to view the video.

Not sure but I highly doubt it.

I installed a TADI 7 inch monitor day/night, Bluetooth, video compatible and so on up front with wiring run back under the vehicle to the rear-mounted double 120 degree cameras(colour). I have one set for seeing the Gearspace 34 storage unit on the rear hitch and the other for seeing traffic back there. I decided against a wireless unit for well-documented reasons. Some people like them.
Matching your wireless transmitter to a larger screen may need some experimenting or you might contact a company such as TADI and ask them if it can be done and what to use.
