Default Roadtrek and Pleasure Way comparison

For those of you who have done some research and may know about both the RT and PW, I'd like to ask the following questions regarding gas models, years 1995 to 2000:

1. Is the fresh water tank about the same size in both?

2. Is storage about the same in both? Or does the RT have more storage because of the aisle shower?

3. Is there an option for an extra cabinet/wardrobe in the PW like there is in the RT by replacing the seat behind the driver's seat?

4. Do they both get about the same miles per gallon?

5. What are the major differences between the PW and RT?

6. Are there any other comparable class Bs?

Thanks!

Here's a couple of discussion threads from here - folks discussing RTs and PWs pros/cons.

I have no hands on with a PW, but our RT has served us well with a few little hiccups along the way.
It does well in every area you mention and is a good comfortable vehicle for road trips. We bought ours used
last year and knew nothing about them. With the help of many kind folks on this forum, and a lot of trial
and error, we figured it out (mostly), and are enjoying RVing in a smaller, less expensive package that does
almost everything an RVer in a class A bus can do. With better gas mileage, too. The only downer of the RT
we have is the aisle shower. We don't use it, and don't plan to, as we think it's just too much of a hassle and we
also don't want the humidity and mess it would probably create. Just our opinion and decision. You may love it.
We stop wherever we can find inexpensive showers along the way, at truck stops, campgrounds, and State/National
Parks. Works for us. We even sometimes get free ones at the truck stops if a trucker leaves his shower ticket
behind (some t/s issue free showers with qualifying purchases by truckers, and they sometimes leave them at the
cashier's counter).
There are so many Bs out there, different shapes, and equipment, and configurations, that it's hard to
compare them all. Except to say, just go and see some, at a dealership or a used RV lot or wherever you
happen to see them when you're out and about, and see what each one you look at brings to the table.
Then, when you're completely overloaded with info, pick the 2 you liked best, and flip a coin.

Good luck.
