Default Roadtrek roof leak

I have a 2003 Roadtrek 190 Popular with a roof leak in the back--over the bed where it is, naturally, most convenient. My wife notes that while driving on the flat in a thunderstorm, everything stays nice and dry. When we are traveling in the mountains, though, water manages to get in. Her analysis is that water is coming in through the roof-mounted heat pump. When we are headed downhill, the grates in the back are pointed up toward the rain. It makes sense to me but I'm concerned about how to get at the possible leak site. Any suggestions?

There's a pdf file in this post: http://www.classbforum.com/phpBB2/vi...php?f=9&t=1257

It'll give you an idea of what you might have to do.
