Default Seat recovering

Has anyone had their seat bottoms reupholstered in. RoadTrek? I was quoted $185 per seat bottom and that seems high.

I replaced the leather bottom on a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe drivers seat myself. It came out great, but it was a bit more complicated and time consuming than I thought it would be and the replacement seat cover was expensive. $185.00 per side does not really seem out of line.

I have had a couple of quotes to replace both center bottom panels (not the side bolsters) and one piece in the backrest, plus repadding, for my 1996 Buick Roadmaster and they were in the $300 and up range. All of them would be using synthetic leather (also know as vinyl ) and not real leather for that price, and they really didn't want to try to match with real leather, only do a complete reupholster for well over $1000. Sounds like if they are doing a complete bottom reupholster, you are being quoted similarly.
