Default storing dinette table

ON my 97 190v. I can't figure out how to store the big table when I'm not using it as a table or for the bed. Where do you guys safely store the table so it's not in the way?

I'd look under the rear cushions first.

The dinette table top in my RT 190 Popular model was stored under the driver's side rear seat cushion. The was an approximate 6 inch diameter hole cut in the plywood under the cushion. The dinette table top went in face up and the table top support sat in the hole to stop the table top from sliding.

It could be different on your 190 Versatile though.

Thanks Marco,

But I just tried the rear seat cushions. The drivers side bottom cushion would sit to high on top of the table and not lock in. Won't even fit at all in passenger side.

Any other ideas? Anybody?

Did you check the owner's manual, assuming you got one when you bought the van?
If not, try downloading one, and see if that helps. They aren't perfect, but they sometimes have
snippets of useful info, or even picture clues.
They are available at Roadtrek's website.

I checked the owners manual also. It has nothing about how to store the table on the Versatile. Just something on the Popular as shown below.

It also has nothing on how to store the smaller cloverleaf table, but that was stored when I bought the RT.

Hmmmmm. OK.
If no one has any idea on here, you could try asking on the Yahoo Roadtrek Group, or maybe on the
RVNET forums. Someone there might know.
Or, if you're in no real hurry, send service@roadtrek.com an email, and include your VIN number.
It might be a few days before you get a reply, but they'll know where it goes.

Does this pic help understand what I'm talking about? Won't fit into storage compartment, table is about 1/2 inch to long

Yes, sort of. My table top stores as markopolo suggested under the driver's side rear bench seat cushion.
There's a hole cut in the platform that allows the table leg mount to drop below flush on that part of the
bench.
If there isn't anywhere under the cushions for it to be stored, where it fits flat, I just don't know. It likely stores
inside the living area, but as to where I wouldn't know where to begin looking. Do you have a closet or armoire?
Probably not, as the Versatile models have 4 seats (usually). If you do, perhaps it goes in there.
If you download the 2002 Chev 190 Owner's Manual, see the pictures on page B3 and you can see how some table
tops are stored.
