Question Theromstat RM2453 Dometic

Hello everyone just installed new thermostat on my 2002 Roadtrek 200 Popular dometic RM2453 refrigerator, it is still not working correctly. Before old thermostat would not turn on at all no matter where it was set at, now that I have installed new stat it comes on but only if you turn it almost to max then it does cool but never shuts off, turns refrigerator into freezer. Do I need to buy another stat or is there a way to recalibrate this one. Moving probe up or down fin makes no difference temp outside is about 50. I am running out of ideas.
Any suggestions. Thanks
Grampy

Before I would go any further, I would call the Dometic Tech Guys and ask them. Seems of late when I install things I invariably run into something, must be because my comprehension is waining, ha! I call various Techs and with their expert help - I can resolve the current problem. Ron

If the problem exists in lp gas mode only then check or have a tech check lp gas pressure.

Here's a post I made about getting my older model fridge to work: http://www.classbforum.com/forums/f5...idge-3434.html

Default thermostat out of calibration

Sadly it operates the same in all three modes 120 volt 12 volt and gas. I can only guess either the sensor tube is bad or it is way out of calibration. Not looking forward to replacing again.

Exclamation thermostat out of calibration

Sending back thermostat their tech said it must be defective knew of no calibration adjustment. So by the time this is done will have lots of hands on in removal of this type of rv refrigerator. Have to wait for new switch to arrive now after warranty review what ever that means
