How well would one of those thick "grass skirts" work to deflect road debris? I usually see them on the backs of class C or A motorhomes. They always look like they're dragging on the ground. I would imagine they would stop most everything the other more complex looking tow vehicle deflectors would? Maybe wouldn't stop a muffler or tailpipe launch, but I'm not sure the other ones would either?
Just wondering?
The trailer has a built in "diamond plate" road level nose shield. I guess it's standard equipment on most trailers these days. It says it's made of almost 1/2 " thick corrugated aluminum plate.

They should work. I see them on Class A' s all the time. They'd have the advantage of being there all the time and that would help keep the rear of the RV a bit cleaner.

I wonder if they're expensive?
One of the solid rubber ones.....

this one is more of a "split into smaller flap sections" solid rubber one.

couldn't find a true grass skirt model online. strange as i see them all the time.
maybe they're obsolete?
